Why We Love This Gem:
1. Peridot crystals can be found in meteorites: some rare extraterrestrial crystals are even big enough to facet as cut gemstones.
2. Most gems are coloured by impurities such as iron. Peridot's colour is intrinsically yellow-green. Higher-quality stones have an intense colour.
3. Peridot has extremely high double refraction: when you look closely through the gem, you can see two of each pavilion facet.

White Lotus Designs

Inspired by urban fashion and with a background in Design and Fine Art, Edina Racz finds the most diverse materials to create one-of-a-kind jewellery pieces that are creative, functional and wearable. The 'WhiteLotus' collection features wire-woven gemstone necklaces, earrings, and cuff bracelets. Each piece is handcrafted using time-honoured skills and quality materials in her Toronto based studio.
