Find Your Something Blue... May 30, 2017 Purdys Jewellery and Gems
Find your.. Something Blue at Purdy's!

Inspired by the meeting of past and present, NES uses traditionnal jewellery techniques, incorporating modern resins and wallpapers.

After designing their work, the two NES artists ( Nikaline and Sybelle) choose the colors and materials that will compose the pieces of a new collection. Their ideas take shape when they create a wax or a metal sculpture, after which the mold is used as a base in the manufacturing of the jewels. When the pewter pieces have been molded and cast, they apply coloured resin and ornaments such as pearls, gemstones, crystals and sometimes unique collections with wallpaper of there own drawing or in collaboration with other artists. Nikaline and Sybelle are proud to make their jewellery with local resources.
All NES jewellery is hand made in Montreal.

Find Your Something Old... May 16, 2017 Purdys Jewellery and Gems
Find your "Something Old" at Purdy's with Lynda CArr Vintage Jewellery!

It is often said that everything that is old is new again. Lynda Carr has held this philosophy from a very early age. Always intrigued and inspired by vintage items like architecture, clothing, furniture, jewellery, Lynda took this attitude and applied it to her wonderful art. What many see as old and tarnished silver serving platters, bread plates, butter dishes and trivets, Lynda sees as new and shiny rings, bracelets, broaches, and necklaces.
Lynda practices her “Three R’s” recycle, restyle & reborn, from her quaint studio located in Wainfleet, Ontario. The studio is a working studio, people are welcome to stop in and see her create her unique, one of a kind, artisan jewellery. The next time you see something old and tarnished, it may be hiding something truly beautiful and unique.

See in store for the full line!
